Madelyn's First Camping Trip

We went camping this past week with my sister and her kids. Things went really well. Considering the fact that it was two women and six kids. Both my sister and I have not been camping in a long time. For me it has been over eight years and for her four or five.

Madelyn had a great time. She was sure about sleeping in the camper the first night but by the last it was not a problem. She was dirty and tired every night. She befriended our neighbors and spent more time in their site than in ours. But that is one of the best things about camping, it's like a little community.

The slide show is the same on each kids site but the story is different. Enjoy the show.

We had dance rehearsal tonight for the recital. Jason video taped it. I am so surprised that she actually preformed. I am so proud of her. She was so cute. I do not even care if she does not do it on the day of the show. But I think that she enjoyed being up on stage.

Madelyn's Circus Experience

We took the little kids to the circus a couple of weekends ago. Alexander loves the circus and we have been taking him for years. Madelyn has gone before but the last time she was very small. We did not take her last year. This year we thought that she was old enough to go. Alexander was six months younger when he went for the first time. She was good about staying in the area of the four seats that we had, but she was really not interested in sitting in her seat. I think that her favorite part of the circus was the cotton candy. If I had known that I would have just gotten her some Wal-Mart and we could had saved our self 40 bucks. Anyway. I think that we will give her one more year to try it out and if she does not become a fan we will just take Alexander until Gabriel can decide if he likes it. Eric has out grown going to the circus all together.

Spring Time Fun

Yesterday felt more like summer than spring. It was around 85 degrees. The kids had a good time playing in the sprinkler. Today it also feels like summer it is a bit humid to go with it. I am sure that the kids will be out there again playing in the water. I have done a little slide show of some of the fun we have had over the last few weeks. Madelyn was not sure about the sprinkler at first but she definitely found the enjoyment of it after awhile.
